When Mercury is in Retrograde several times a year tempers flare, electrical and car stuff falls apart, microwaves blow up, deals fall through, tensions mount. Basically, life erupts. This is not your fault. Just relax, use caution, watch for those dates and work your life around them, starting new projects or signing legal papers after it passes. Things will get better almost immediately as it ends. Note: Full Moons & the week leading up to them, act like this.

Mercury In Retrograde is like having a Full Moon madness going on for about 3 weeks time, every single day.

Long ago I wanted to deny it, ignore and refuse to acknowledge it. Well guess what...it just kept right on showing up whether I denied it or not.

You will think you are crazy, or that everything is falling apart mechanically and electrically, emotions run so high and people are so angry and agitated, car troubles appear, people walk off jobs that have been there forever and don't know why, deals fall through (Don't sign any legal paperwork during this time), and an avalanche of hassles show up. Just relax, delay starting new projects or concepts and wait it out. It will end soon.

Full Moons and Eclipses act exactly like this. The tides control the energies of the earth and since we have such a huge percent of water in our body chemistry, see Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_water we are affected whether we live near water or not.

During these times I get a lot of phone calls wanting to know "What is going on? Everything is wrong."

Relax, stay calm, do leisurely activities, keep your stress level as low as possible. It will change.
