Turn a Problem Entry into an Altar that Greets All That Enter…

When my friends Sharon and Ron moved into their new Delray Beach, Fl. home the foyer was the only eye sore of the entire place. Everything else looked like it could be perfect for all of their furniture and art. I knew a little Power Feng Shui would provide just the magic to change the energy that greets all that enter here. With two doors facing the entry door, (the small bathroom and the garage door), plus the steel grey metal electrical box, this called for something very special to make those Ch’i changes.


   


Sharon got busy and bought a length of golden fabric from Wal-mart, hemmed it, and pulled the top portion through an old gold belt buckle to create the swag. She adjusted the panel to hang above the electrical box, concealing it, and draped gently on the floor, tucking the excess underneath. Next she placed a golden pedestal in front of it. Pedestals symbolically elevate whatever objects placed upon them to a higher level of Ch’i energy, making them larger in the lives that live there. The gold color of the pedestal brings prosperity.

Next she placed a statue of The Infant of Prague, symbolic for Jesus coming to this life as a child, on the pedestal and draped a blue (wisdom) beaded rosary on it. She used another piece of fabric to cover an ugly pot and evoke the prosperity energy so it would bloom with white (creativity and blessings for her children) flowers. The green leaves bring fresh growth as well.

All of Sharon’s efforts created an incredible golden altar to honor God and disguise the ugliness of the foyer in her beautiful home. Visitors are greeted with a feeling of a Holy blessing. Excellent creative fire Sharon! Thank you so much for your great Ch’i concept.
