Building Good Karma Can Change Your Life

...Article Continuation...

Did I deserve to be used or disrespected? Have I been “user-friendly” to my family or disrespectful? Have I somehow called this “cause and effect” karma into play? It forced me to “own my feelings” and make different choices with my life. It is all in my hands with my actions and reactions. If I fail to be proactive and only react to others in a selfish manner, I have only myself to blame.

Looking at the cold hard realities of my life has changed my Karma by taking a different approach with the rest of my life. I have a second chance to live now and I am not going to waste another moment of it building ill will, anger, frustration, or negative actions that will rebound later for a payback. Neither should you. It is all in our hands. We are the only ones to shoulder the blame, or reap the rewards, depending on what energies we put out there into the world.

Like it or not, we are all here for a reason. Some find that reason and others simply wander aimlessly throughout their lives, giving in to all circumstances and situations and never understanding “HOW???” this happened. Your purpose may be just to be here on earth to love one single person that needs it so desperately. It could be a child, a parent, a lover, a sister, brother, friend, neighbor or we might even be “entertaining angels unaware”. Only God knows our purpose. If you are seeking it, ask Him.

All of us have needs of all kinds. If we will only take the time to love and respect each person we come in contact with each day, the entire world would change for us all. Our personal world of work, family and friends, churches, and associations of all kinds would receive the greatest impact. The world in general would change if we all lived by this.

Give it a try, build some good Karma. You’ll love the results.

NOTE: I came across some Buddhist wisdom in the Chinese Reiki healing practices. These definitely are words to live by and change your karma.

The Wisdom of Buddha … Reiki Principles (Chinese healing technique)

Just for today, I will give thanks for my many blessings.

Just for today, I will not worry.

Just for today, I will not be angry.

Just for today, I will do my work honestly.

Just for today, I will be kind to my neighbor and every living thing.
